The earth has an energy field.
Anything that is manifest upon the earth, including the earth itself, has a dense vibrational energy; that density is what makes it visible, palpable, in a sense, real to our human senses. But just like our human bodies have an energy field that is not ordinarily viewable to the naked eye, so does the earth.
When we ground, we connect deeply to the very center of the earth, where any energy we release is received and transmuted and then recycled.
Earth energy is also received back through our earthly bodies from the chakras at the bottom of our feet and up into earth energy channels that are located in the feet, legs and empty into the pelvic bowl. That cycle of grounding and earth energy creates a siphon that aids us in grounding, connecting with the earth, more deeply.
Earth energy helps us to feel more safe, secure, and centered. It’s great for healing physical pain, trauma and supports in all healing.
Think of how good it feels to lie on the grass, or on the beach, that’s the power of earth energy. Spending time in nature is a very physical way of engaging in the powerful healing pathway of energy.
Of course, connecting in nature and spending time outdoors are high on the list of ways to ground. Being present, curious, and aware while there can elevate the experience. Considering gratitude and engaging with your surroundings. Notice what you notice while there and take those experiences with you.
Grounding through meditation is a convenient way to work with earth energy no matter where you are. Earth energy can appear in a variety of colors, textures, and formats when you meditate. Simply ask to see or to know and you will likely get at least some inclination if not clarity.
Think of all the different elements of earth; dirt, rock, water, mud, fire deep within. All of that is earth energy and each can help, guide and support you in unique and different ways.
