Roses are a powerful beauty medicine.

They are emblems of creation and are most well known as symbols of love.

All living things on earth have a cycle. Roses come from seeds, they grow, they bloom, they die, thus being important representations of life cycles.

They are ancient, having been around for over 35 million years and are popular in both art and spirituality.

In the work I do they become vessels for energy. The symbol of a rose serves as a container for the energy of anything, a person, a problem, a day. Anything you want to transform can be placed inside a rose in order to be worked with and transmuted.

In this work, they are created and destroyed, taking with them and transforming anything and everything. They can be a vessel of energy or used almost like a duster throughout the energy field washing and cleansing. When a rose has been used, it is either grounded or sent through a grounding cord, releasing it and all it contains from the energy field. Or it may be exploded into tiny pieces and expelled from the energy field.

Roses, filled with energy, can be read symbolically to bring important wisdom about any aspect of yourself and life. Each piece of a rose’s anatomy represents different aspects and provides unique observations and wisdom. Roses can be any color or combination of colors. Even their petals can be shaped differently and that can provide information about the energy field. Even other elements surrounding a rose can provide insight to the relationship to the object to the question at hand. An example of this would be the sun, which often represents god, or spirit.

Sometimes, in a reading, a rose is not a rose and that can be important information as well.

Using the symbol of a rose is limitless in it’s potential and yet it provides a simple structure that is both appealing and satisfying.
